6 Simple Steps To Find Your Purpose

There is something in us- that we obviously do not know about. We were not just sent to the earth to wander around and enjoy all good things. We were born with a purpose, an assignment, a mission to accomplish. For most of us, it is never difficult to discover what our purpose is while for most of us, it takes a longer time. When you find your purpose, you seem to have a sense of direction, a concentration, a focus or a drive, you do not just sit around. Congratulations to those who have found their purpose....and those who have'nt, here are some tips that could help;
1. Check your passion;
        Sometimes purpose is hiddem in the things we are most passionate about, the things we are found doing when the sun is up and when it goes down again, what we run to when the world shuts us out or what we do and time matters no more. Is it singing or dancing or writing you are passionate about? Your life assignment is hidden in your passion.....take a look
2. Ask your hobbies;
        Those things you like to do or enjoy doing. Is it Hiking, biking, baking, running or sleeping?look deeper- your choice of hobbies are not just coincidental, there must be some other string attached. So look at your hobbies carefully if you intend finding your purpose- do'nt just neglect them like that.
3. Flashback to your childhood;
         What is that thing about you that made your parents and teachers praise you? What did your friends admire in you?. We always seem to neglect the impact our childhood stages had on us. We drop all the things we used to do as kids in desperate efforts to be matured.  If you want to find your pupose, I bet you would'nt mind flashing back a little bit
4. Ask people;
        Do not be ashamed that you do not know anything about yourself- you actually do but not everything. When you are on the road to find your purpose, you may have to ask a few close friends what they feel or think is your life assignment.
Your parents too could help, I mean it is they who raised you so they practically know a whole lot about you. Ask them what they think your purpose is and listen attentively- it is they who brought you to life.
5. Consider the things that easily irritate you;
     Or the injustices that bother you. Think about the things about the world that makes you unhappy and upset. It could be deforestation or animal slaughtering or world conflict. What cause do you believe in? What can you fight for?- your purpose might be hidden in those answers.
6. What are your virtues?
          What things will you never compromise? What things are you known to stand for? Is it honesty or equality? Your purpose might be hidden in your virtues, you never know. For instance, you stand for equality or fairplay- your calling might be law or politics- you never know.
     Finally, follow your heart- you never know where it is leading you.
Flourish Herbert.
